Terms and conditions
Credit card payments in favor of Horisont Kajak are collected by TREKKSOFT AG, Hauptstrasse 15, 3800 Matten, Switzerland ("TREKKSOFT"). TREKKSOFT will appear as HORISONT KAJAK on your credit card statement. The domain where you enter and process your payment is owned and operated by TREKKSOFT.
Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org for all inquiries regarding your credit card payments and chargebacks.
These are terms applicable to rental, self guided trips, guided trips and coaching.
This is included when hiring a kayak:
Spray deck, buoyancy aid and paddle. Map/sea chart & compass is not included but possible to add on to your reservation.
Reservation and payment
Reservation is made via our online booking service. www.booking.horisontkajak.se
Payment is made with the total amount. When booking is made, the kayak is reserved for you.
Cancellation earlier than 21 days before the activity is refunded with the total amount except for SEK 200:-
Cancellation 8-20 days before the activity is refunded with 75% of the total amount.
Cancellation 1-7 days before the activity is refunded with 50% of the total amount.
Cancellation within 24 hours before the activity is non-refundable.
We do not refund no shows.
If you decide it is too windy for you to start your trip, you have the option of reebooking. You need to be present at Horisont Kajak at the time of your original departure to have this option. The conditions are usually more favourable on site than on the weather app ;-).
Horisont Kajak AB guarantee equipment with full function.
All equipment shall be returned in the same shape when collected. Any damage will be charged. The kayak is excpected to be clean when returned. If you prefer us to clean it, we are happy to do that. The charge is SEK 200:-/kayak.
Liability and insurance
You are obliged to wear a buoyancy aid at all times when you are afloat.
You may not paddle one of our kayaks after drinking any kind of alcoholic drinks or using any other drugs.
If you are delayed, you are excpected to give us notice. If you are missing by the time you are excpected, we are obliged to call Rescue Service.
If you or anyone in your party neglect to comply with the Public Right of Access or any other statutes, Horisont Kajak has the right to take back hired equipment without any refund.
All activity with hired equipment is at own risk. Kayaking is considered as a small craft, and you are liable to follow the maritime laws.
Any damage or loss of equipment is at your own risk. Check your insurance.
It is your responsible to return all equipment when agreed. Horisont Kajak can not provide pickup service. In case you or your party have problems getting back in time, we recommend that you call boat taxi service.
Collection and Return:
No later than 17.30
The equipment is excpected to be clean and ready for us to inspect at that time so we can hand it over to the next customer.
If you are late with your return, we charge SEK 250:- for every 30 min overdue.
